Swine Flu - Precautions - Symptoms - Hyderabad Hospitals - Contact Number - Address


As you are aware, several cases of H1N1 have been detected in Hyderabad in the past few days. We would, therefore, urge you to take cognizance of the following and take the necessary precautions:
1. Basic Measures
Use a tissue/handkerchief when you cough or sneeze.
2.Wash your hands thoroughly and often, especially after sneezing or coughing, using soap and water.
3.Wipe surfaces like door-knobs using a regular cleaner.
4.If you’re sick with flu-like symptoms, even if you don’t feel sick enough, go to the doctor. >>Whenever possible, rather than relying on the use of face-masks or respirators, avoid close contact with people who might be ill and being in crowded settings.
5.Respirators should be considered for use by individuals for whom close contact with an infectious person is unavoidable. This can include selected individuals who must care for a sick person (e.g., family member with a respiratory infection) at home.
6.Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.

8. Mild respiratory illness (nasal congestion, rhinorrhea)

People coming from an overseas trip, must seek medical opinion at the earliest possible, should they feel unwell at any point. Should you need to remain absent from work place.

Budget 2009 Highlights

Budget 2009 has just been released and here are the highlights of the Budget. The Budget is viewed by the Industry fraternities as not a dream Budget and showed disappointment and doubts on the execution of the fiscal schemes allocated. There are still lot of reasons to smile for Agri and Infra and the common voter of India. The Industry experts say it focuses more on the next 9 months rather than a vision for the next 5 years,but overall a inclusive and balanced budget which has benefitted more agricutural and farm sector, Infrastructure and satisfies farmers and some section of voters.

Highlights: It covers the following budget allocations
Public Investment ,Highways and Railways, Agricultural Development,Food Security,Inclusive Growth and Oil industry, Income Tax reforms and Minority Welfare,Increased spending for educational Institutions.


  • Aims to sustain 9% growth rate of GDP by 2014 and see farm sector's growth @ 4%

  • Focus on Infrastructure and Farm sector by providing financial stimulus Package for tax reliefs at 1.86,000 crores

  • Additional excise duty on Cars and duty on petrol driven trucks has been cut.

  • Fringe Benefit and Commodity Tax Benefit abolished.

  • IIFCL to given more flexibility to provide finance assistance to infrastructure companies to attract more private investment.

  • Banks and Insurance Companies continue to be held by Government at 51 % stake.

  • 25kgs of rice to be given at 3 Rs a Kilo for poor in the rural areas and modernisation of employment exchange to help youth get placed.

  • Slum free India in 5 years --The Budget has allocated crores of money for urban Housing and Development for slum dwellers and an additional 500 crores for Mumbai storm water drainage.

  • Credit Flow for Agriculture is allocated at 3,25,000 crores and 6 to 7% interest rate to farmers.Additional assistance for Irrigation. Immense assistance to exporters and importers and the export credit guarantee scheme is extended till Martch 2010.

  • Income Tax return forms to be made simpler and saral2 Form to be introduced soon.

  • Fertiliser products to be available at reasonable prices to ensure fertiliser utilisation and Govt plans to bring in the system of direct transfer of subsidies to farmers.

  • Increased allocation at 2131 Crores for educational Institutions by setting up new IIT's and NIIT.

  • One lakh new Houses for Paramilitary forces and other allowances.

  • National ID cards by Unique ID plan to be rolled out in 12 months.39 thousand and 100 crores allocation of money to NREGA project with a wage of Rs. 100 per day.

Nutrition Facts in Fruits

Apple : Apple has considerable amounts of Vitamin C ,Vitamin K, Magnesium, Phosphorous and Potassium. It also has good amounts of calcium, Folate and Iron. It provides 6.3mg of Vitamin C,8mg calcium and 148mg of potassium.
Pomegranate:Pomegranate, called as Fruit for Life as it cures many diseases is high in dietary Fiber,Vitamin C of 9mg and Folate 9.4mcg. It has considerable amounts of Iron and other nutrients.
Banana :Banana is a sweet and delicious fruit and is high in Calcium with 6mg in a large cup of banana,Pottasium 422 mg, 24mcg of Folate,Magensium and Iron.It has high sugar content as well.

Stock News /Sensex Movers and Gainers

Public Sector Stocks saw an increase in the light of Budget getting released on July 6th. Some of the companies which saw a good rise in the recent days are Hindustan Copper,Bharat Electronics and MTNL. The Public sector stocks owned mostly by the Government rose anywhere between 3 to 14 percent. The congress Government is planning to relook at the disinvestment programme which would help it to raise money leading to a spulrge in the PSU stocks.

ONGC, HDFC and Reliance Industries have gained significantly and rose and grown between 0.5 to 8 % and have joined in the list of Sensex Movers. Tata Motors and TCS have come down by 295 to 385 Rs. Punjd Lyold and Tech Mahindra also are on the rising side as the internals of the company is showing a growing pattern.
